Ancient Fermented Looseleaf Puer
Puer tea is one of the true treasures of China. With a wide spectrum of health benefits, this puer is picked from old growth large leaf tea trees, and processed by hand in the traditional fashion. The flavors of this "Shou style" Puer are created by fermenting green tea leaves. The short, twisted light and dark brown leaves make a thick, rich brown, espresso like infusion. It's character possesses a smooth earthy, peaty flavor.
Puer tea is known for its ability to help break down oily foods so it is often consumed after dinner.
